These policies apply with the accepted quote and our Terms of Service. Mandatory consumer rights prevail over any inconsistent commercial condition.
1. Written scope and approval
The accepted quote identifies the motorcycle, requested work, parts, labour, total and applicable tax, expected timing and any special conditions. A request or inspection is not authorization for all work a mechanic identifies. Chargeable work requires approval, and extra work requires a revised approval. Work can pause if approval is declined or delayed. Agreed inspection charges remain separate from approval of repairs.
2. Minimum deposit
A deposit of at least 10% of the accepted amount is payable before service is provided. Any higher deposit must be specified and accepted before payment. Deposits are credited against the final invoice. A deposit is not automatically non-refundable: cancellation, actual authorized commitments, work already supplied and mandatory rights determine what may properly be retained. ERG will explain deductions and the balance due or refundable.
3. Cancellation and rescheduling
Please submit a cancellation or rescheduling request at least 24 hours before the confirmed start of the service, lesson or transport operation. Contact ERG through the app where available, email or WhatsApp, quoting the reference. Retain your sent message. Cancellation is not dependent on whether ERG reads the notice immediately. A previously unconfirmed requested arrival time does not become a confirmed service start merely because it appears in your request.
With at least 24 hours' notice, ERG accepts cancellation of the unperformed service, subject to already approved work and any specifically disclosed and accepted special-order or custom-production commitments. If notice is shorter, or you do not attend, ERG will review cancellation or rescheduling; it may be unable to accommodate the change. This policy does not impose an unspecified automatic penalty or automatic forfeiture of the entire deposit. Any lawful late-cancellation charge must have been clearly stated and accepted before booking, and any retained amount must be explained. If ERG cancels, we will offer an alternative or the applicable refund for the unprovided service; you need not accept credit instead of a legally required refund.
4. Completed work and replaced parts
There is no change-of-mind refund for authorized services correctly completed, including authorized parts replacement. The fact that a part has been fitted does not remove remedies if the part is defective, unsuitable for the agreed purpose, incorrectly supplied or installed, or the work was unauthorized or deficient. Statutory rights to correction, replacement, repeat performance or an appropriate refund remain unaffected.
For partly completed work, ERG will itemize authorized work actually performed, supplied parts and properly disclosed unavoidable commitments. Unused amounts are assessed for refund rather than automatically retained. Special-order and custom-produced items may carry disclosed change-of-mind restrictions, but these do not exclude remedies for defects or nonconformity.
5. Refund requests
Send your invoice or request reference, the reason and relevant evidence to our contact email or WhatsApp. Do not send passwords or full card details. ERG will assess the issue, explain the decision and, when a refund is due, confirm the amount, method and expected processing date. Refunds should use the original payment method where practicable and lawful; store credit is not imposed in place of a refund you are legally entitled to receive. Bank/provider processing time may be additional. No deadline stated by ERG may override a shorter legally required timeframe. Statutory complaints and remedies remain available.
6. Storage and collection
A storage order must identify the motorcycle, intake condition, agreed start and end/collection date, storage rate and billing period, included care and any deposit. Battery care, washing, maintenance, transport, insurance and unrestricted access are not assumed included unless stated. Storage begins only after ERG accepts custody under the agreed arrangement.
ERG allows one calendar month after the agreed collection date before the late-collection fee starts. This is a grace period for the late fee, not free storage: the agreed storage charges continue while the motorcycle remains with ERG, as disclosed in the accepted storage order. After that grace month, an additional AED 50 per month applies alongside the agreed storage charges. The order must specify the precise grace-end date, monthly charging dates, treatment of a partial month and applicable tax before acceptance. Unspecified rounding or extra charges will not be imposed retrospectively.
Contact ERG to agree an extension or collection arrangements. A revised collection date or storage rate requires written agreement. Late collection does not transfer ownership to ERG and does not itself authorize sale, disposal or use of the motorcycle. Any action regarding uncollected property must follow applicable law and required notices. Tell ERG promptly about any alleged loss or damage; no blanket exclusion applies to ERG's failure to exercise legally required care.
7. One-month workmanship warranty
ERG provides a one-calendar-month workmanship warranty for its completed work, starting on the handover/completion date documented to the customer. The job completion record must state the start and end dates, covered work and claim contact. Where work is not physically handed over immediately, ERG must clearly record the completion notification and warranty arrangements rather than rely on an undisclosed internal date.
Report a suspected workmanship defect promptly with the job reference and symptoms. Stop using the motorcycle if continued use could be unsafe or aggravate damage, and contact ERG for inspection/transport instructions. ERG will assess the complaint and provide the remedy required by the circumstances and law, which may include corrective work without charge, repeat performance or an appropriate refund. An inspection or transport charge for a valid covered claim must not be used to defeat mandatory warranty rights.
Normal wear, unrelated defects, misuse, accident damage or later third-party alterations are not workmanship defects caused by ERG merely because they occur during the period. ERG will explain any proposed exclusion and its connection to the issue. Riding a dirt bike or competing does not automatically void every claim. Parts may have separate supplier/manufacturer warranties, disclosed when supplied; referring you to a manufacturer does not remove ERG's own obligations.
The one-month commercial warranty does not shorten any longer statutory right, applicable parts warranty, required extension or remedy period. A complaint received after one month will still be considered where another applicable right exists. Any repair deadline or additional guarantee required for the service must be documented in the service order.
8. Parts, graphics, coaching and race support
Parts requests require compatibility and price review before ordering. Graphics require approval of the final proof and production specification. Changes after approval may need a revised quote and approval, but approval does not excuse defective production. Coaching is priced per lesson; no recurring Training Pass subscription is sold in the current release. Coaching and race-support cancellation conditions, third-party commitments and safety requirements must be supplied before acceptance. Weather or event cancellation is reviewed against those agreed arrangements and applicable rights; it does not automatically forfeit all payments.
